You've laid the groundwork—you understand the problem and created a better solution for the world: your brand. My job is to explore how to present your solution in a way that is genuine and deliberate. Every brand has an inherently unique story to reveal, and revealing that story uniquely is the key to being remembered.
It begins with travel. Before telling everyone else's narrative—I wanted to make my own. My first calling was the Pacific Northwest where I learned to make a difference through 'green design' techniques. This led me later to San Francisco to work alongside great people carving similar paths. I pushed yet farther. I took advantage of my dual-citizenship and moved to Germany, known for particularly disciplined design. Here I interned at FutureBrand–Hamburg to learn principles of advertising. Creating an advertising pitch could actually universally apply to any design project in which a story needed to be told quickly and effectively—a revelation in my design approach. I then landed a position at the ad agency Radius Design Group in Istanbul, Turkey where I became an art director of really fun projects for internationally-renowned brands. Having returned to beautiful California, I currently represent the outdoor apparel brand Mountain Hardwear, whose focus is to engage their audience more and more through social media dialogue and creative marketing—telling heroic and inspiring stories of getting outside and pushing boundaries. Makes sense, right?
